Charming pendant from silver with a beautiful and high-quality cabochon of a rare larimar , reminiscent of the play of the sun's rays at sea level. The jewelry is handmade, the larimar stone is carefully selected with a distinct blue color. Ag 925. You are buying directly depicted jewelry.
Larimar, also known as the "dolphin stone", is one of the rarest semi-precious stones in the world . This fact is due to the fact that there is only one deposit in the world of this unique blue variety of pectolite, which is larimar. Larimar is mined only in the Caribbean in a very small mountainous area of the island of Hispaniola, about 5 km away Rio Bahoruco in the Dominican Republic.
Another name for Larimar is the Stone of Atlantis . According to the famous prophet Edgar Cayce, the Dominican Republic is a remnant of the lost continent of Atlantis. Interestingly, it was Cayce who predicted the discovery of a new blue stone in the Caribbean, about larimar, about 60 years ago.
