K2 granite or K2 jasper is a combination of white granite and sharply contrasting blue azurite , which creates round surfaces from a few millimeters to two centimeters in diameter, resembling raindrops from a distance.
Although the name K2 jasper is more commonly used, due to its chemical composition, it is not correct. Japs is an opaque variety of chalcedony, occurring in several color variants: red, yellow, green, brown, etc. The main component is silicon dioxide with admixtures of quartz and opal.
Granite , also known as granite, is a deep igneous rock containing a significant amount of potassium feldspar, quartz and acidic plagioclase. The usual color is gray with a blue tint, or white and red.
