Red candlestick in the shape of a lotus flower for a tea light. The color red symbolizes energy, passion, power and love. The candlestick is made from oyster shells (placuna placenta), also known as capiz shells after the place where the oysters are collected, i.e. around Panay City, Capiz Province, Philippines. After cleaning, the shells are naturally translucent, and when dyed they allow a wonderful interplay of colors and light.
