Certificates of authenticity of jewelry and precious stones

At Nefertitis.cz, we do everything we can to ensure that the natural products we offer - whether as polished semi-precious stones and minerals or precious stones and minerals set in silver jewelry - are always what they are meant to be - real natural precious stones , semi-precious stones and minerals (if so stated in the products). Not all products we sell are of natural origin. In the event that the products are made of synthetic or treated stones, glass (exceptionally) or polyresin, we always state this fact with the given product.

At a time when more and more synthetic or significantly modified stones, imitations of amber and, for example, vltavines appear on the semi-precious stones market, it is not easy to verify the authenticity of stones even with electronic testers in some cases.

In order to always offer our customers the natural products that we declare on the goods, we take a number of measures for this:

• we buy both stones and jewelry from reliable suppliers both in the Czech Republic and abroad, with whom we have many years of positive experience
• we are a dealer in precious metals, registered with the Czech Hallmark Office , the quality of the silver in our jewelry is verified by this office during the hallmarking of products that are required by the Czech Hallmark Act
• we continuously verify the authenticity of the stones with an orientation test using the Presidium electronic gemstone tester , which is a relatively expensive device that most e-shops selling healing stones and semi-precious stones are not equipped with. If we have the slightest doubt about the natural origin of the stone after performing an orientation test with this tester, we do not put such goods on sale
• we have long-term cooperation with the renowned Czech gemological laboratory in Ostrava , which verifies the authenticity of precious stones in our selected jewelry and also the authenticity of amber in beads for children. Subsequently, he issues a Certificate of Authenticity for these jewels. We do not sell jewelry with an issued certificate, they remain with us as a reference sample for testing other jewelry with the same stone using an electronic tester, when we can verify for ourselves that the tested stone has the same measurement quality as the one whose authenticity was verified by the Czech Gemological Laboratory.
