Purely natural essential oil is obtained from the vanilla orchid (Vanilla genus), Vanilla planifolia (true vanilla, also flat-leaved). Vanilla originates in Mexico. Use: aromatherapy, the oil is suitable for an aroma lamp or aroma diffuser, for calming, suppressing stress and tension.
The plant is grown mainly for its use as a spice for drinks, sweet dishes and chocolates. It began to be used as a spice in Europe around 1520.
Alcoholic extract - tincture - was used in medicine in the past.
Put a few drops of oil, approx. 5-10 into an aroma diffuser, aroma lamp or into a pot-pourri. Water must be added to the aroma lamp and aroma diffuser. If the smell is not intense enough, you can gradually add more drops. You can find a wide selection of aroma lamps here.
Warning: do not use the oils internally or externally (to rub on the skin or mucous membrane). These are concentrated substances that can cause a phototoxic reaction of varying intensity on the skin, manifested by the formation of blisters, redness, and pain.
Do not use the oil if its smell causes nausea, headaches or dizziness.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
