Eudialyte (also referred to as eudialyte) is chemically a complex of silicate minerals containing elements such as sodium, calcium, iron, magnesium, yttrium, zircon, etc. It is a rare mineral found in only a few deposits , e.g. in Canada, Madagascar, Russia or Greenland. The color is from pink to red, sometimes dark red-brown or black. It is less commonly found in colors such as green, yellow or purple.

The name is derived from the Greek "dialutos" and means easily soluble. Eudialyte is easily soluble in acids.
