Feng Shui Goddess Tara
The goddess Tara is one of the most famous goddesses in the Buddhist world. The translation of her name is literally "Liberator". In Feng shui, it is found in the form of embroidery to colorful sculptures. Tara has many forms, many colors and different forms of energy. Among the most popular are the green and white Tara, both of which are referred to as the "Mother Goddess" and represent a strong and protective current of compassion. There is also black, red, yellow and blue.
Tara is the goddess of compassion and the mother of liberation. Her energy also includes effort, which is reflected in success in general or in specific actions. It doesn't have to be just worldly achievements, although the yellow Tara is associated with wealth and prosperity. Black Tara represents power, Blue Tara the ability to transform anger.
Tara is generally seen as a being who can help people from imminent danger, to cure diseases and to overcome all kinds of obstacles.
Yellow Tara may be asked for help with wealth or material possessions.
Black Tara represents inner and outer strength.
Red Tara represents the energy and activity of all that is good, it helps activate energy to achieve goals.
Blue Tara transforms anger.
Green Tara
Green is the universal color of healing, regeneration and growth. Green Tara embodies the healing energy of release from fear and ignorance. Human ignorance comes in many forms, from jealousy to pride, and it is green that brings awareness and relief from negative aspects. Green symbolizes living energy, which explains why green Tara is considered the goddess of action. She is often depicted with her right foot facing forward, signifying a forward step. Another aspect of green is freshness, which reflects the youthfulness and playfulness of green Tara. It represents the active, energetic side of compassion. She is the national protector of Tibet.
The main feature of all figurines, regardless of what color their specific energy expresses, is always a female form.
The most suitable place for green Tara
Green Tara is associated with the eastern or southeastern area of a house, apartment or room. It must never be placed on the floor, nor in the kitchen or bathroom. The height of the location is at least 1 m above the ground. It radiates a strong energy of compassion, healing from fear and helps remove obstacles.
White Tara , who is also called the "Mother of all Buddhas", is the perfect embodiment of benevolent power, wisdom and purity.
White Tara expresses a specific energy of purity, truth and power, which are just some of the aspects of the color white. Sometimes she is also called Tara with seven eyes, because behind the third eye she is depicted with eyes in her hands and feet, seeing all human suffering and also encouraging the development of vigilance and perception of the surrounding energy.
Just as the color white is considered the highest color in many mystical traditions because it contains all the colors within it, so the White Tara is considered the most powerful of all the Taras because it embodies them all.
White Tara is depicted everywhere in the lotus position with the soles of her feet pointing upwards (diamond lotus) . Her left hand is raised and the gesture represents protection and fearlessness and her right hand is a gesture for compassion. White Tara often holds a blue lotus flower in her left hand, representing faith and fearlessness.
Each gesture is called "mudra", the word comes from Sanskrit and refers to a thousand-year-old Indian technique that can be used to influence the energy flow in the body. White Tara is the energy of health and longevity. It embodies the fertile, maternal aspect of compassion.
The most suitable place for white Tara
White Tara is associated with the southwest, east and north areas of your house, apartment or room. Never place it on the floor, in the kitchen or in the bathroom. The height of the location is at least 1 m above the ground. Her energy helps to overcome fear, anxiety and illusions.
