Goloka Nagchampa Agarbathi Incense Sticks

Goloka Nagchampa Agarbathi incense sticks with a soothing blend of floral and sandalwood scents. Unique Indian incense sticks from the manufacturer Goloka, on a bamboo split, made from a mixture of herbs, honey, resins and oils.
Let yourself be enchanted by the floral scent of magnolia and plumeria complemented by the rich, sweet scent of sandalwood to create an atmosphere suitable for relaxation, rest, peace of mind and meditation.

Nag Champa – a fragrant mixture of Indian origin, which includes the champa flower from the Magnolia champaca tree, which has strongly aromatic flowers with an intoxicating fragrance just before sunset, and is also used as a component of perfumes. The petals resemble the head of a snake (in Indian languages as "nag"). Indian women often wear flowers behind the ear, where the warmth of the skin develops their fragrance. Nag Champa ingredients vary by manufacturer and the exact ingredients are a manufacturing secret. It also includes sandalwood, resin from the Ailanthus malabarica tree, pajasan in Czech, known as halmaddi, which is also the name for its resin, the scent of plumeria flowers (Plumeria rubra, red and Plumeria acutifolia, sharp-leaved, a mixture of scents called frangipani), from the family and Mesua ferrea – Indian pink chestnut (nagchampa, nagkeshar).
The composition of Nag Champa mixtures also changes over time, taking into account the financial demands of some traditional ingredients. Their aroma then depends on the components of the final product. Sandalwood and frangipani are always included. The mixtures also contain, for example, vanilla, cardamom, etc.

Agarbatti (incense sticks) are an integral part of every Hindu ritual where incense is lit to remove unpleasant odors and fill the air with a pleasant fragrance that also repels insects. The scent of incense has a supportive power with a calming effect on the mind. The calming effect relaxes the mind, helps to concentrate better and get in the mood for meditation. Interestingly, bamboo agarbatti is forbidden in Hinduism. Incense has its spiritual meaning, it represents the human virtue of self-sacrifice.
