Amitabha is the name of the position of meditating Buddha. Symbolism: the meditating Buddha expresses concentration and stability. In this position, the Buddha is depicted with both hands in his lap, palms up and legs crossed, either in the "double lotus" position (with the ankles of both feet tucked behind each other in the so-called locked position, or in the "single lotus" position (where sometimes depicts a bowl for charity (money or food, which is a simple but most important object for Buddhist monks.) This position is meant to express great concentration, so the Buddha's eyes are narrowed or completely closed. The silhouette is an imaginary triangle , which means stability .

Symbolically, the Dorje represents the "lightning of enlightenment," a sudden change in human consciousness that is recognized by many religions as central to mysticism and the lives of saints. Through enlightenment, we can be separated from material goods such as money, food, and even life itself. Happiness then comes not from outside, but from within ourselves. In Tibetan Buddhism, the Dorje is an inseparable ritual part of religious ceremonies.
