Symbolism: the seated Buddha expresses concentration and stability.

Chenrezig, or also Avalokitesvara, is a depiction of the Buddha sitting with one hand in front of his chest and performing the Uttarabodhi Mudra. This is the moment when the Bodhisattva Buddha places his two hands together and pulls his index fingers and the other fingers wrapped around each other. This gesture is supposed to represent the highest enlightenment. The second set of hands, shown in the picture above, shows Jnana Mudra - the teaching mudra with the touches of the fingers that make up the wheel of law. The arms themselves represent four immeasurable things: immeasurable kindness, immeasurable compassion, immeasurable joy, and immeasurable composure . The outer right hand holds crystal beads like the ones used to count mantras. This is because, like the constant counting of beads, Avalokitesvara constantly benefits all sentient beings. He holds a lotus flower in his outer left hand. This bodhisattva has a circle above his head like a "halo", which shows his instability and the greatest, like God. Also in this picture are great pictures of wealth and nature. This could show the importance of Avalokitesvara's greatness and devotion to the world. This image would be used mainly to worship and remember the great bodhisattva waiting for its enlightenment until everyone in the world attains nirvana.

This position of the Buddha is intended for people who are either seeking peace in their lives or for those who want to improve their own meditation skills.

Symbolically, the Dorje represents the "lightning of enlightenment," a sudden change in human consciousness that is recognized by many religions as central to mysticism and the lives of saints. Through enlightenment, we can be separated from material goods such as money, food, and even life itself. Happiness then comes not from outside, but from within ourselves. In Tibetan Buddhism, the Dorje is an inseparable ritual part of religious ceremonies.
