In case of stomach problems, it is advisable to drink the preparations with milk or eat a dairy product. Ibuprofen belongs to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (also non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, abbreviated NSA or NSAID). The term "non-steroidal" distinguishes these drugs from steroid substances with the same effects, i.e. corticosteroids.

- antipyretic (from the Greek "an" - without and "pyros" - fire) - reduces pathologically elevated body temperature;
- antiphlogistic (from the Greek "an" - without and "phlogosis" - inflammation) - suppresses the manifestations of inflammation (pain, swelling, redness, increased blood flow and damaged functions at the site of inflammation).

- headache, tooth and muscle pain;
- milder painful conditions caused by injury, post-traumatic and postoperative;

drug interactions ( lat. interactio from inter-agere, to act with each other, is mutual action and influence, in this case between several drugs), e.g.
- simultaneously used drugs that reduce blood clotting, increase the risk of bleeding;
- acetylsalicylic acid and other anti-inflammatory drugs, corticoids and some antidepressants increase the risk of side effects in the area of the digestive system, including bleeding and stomach ulcers;
- the effect of simultaneously administered drugs intended for the treatment of high blood pressure may decrease; and a whole host of others.
