Andalusite raw Brazil

Raw andalusite.
Country of origin:
Minas Gerais, Brazil
Illustrative representation of natural material, where the color, structure, shape and dimensions of the stone may differ from the accompanying photos. However, you will always receive raw andalusite of comparable quality.

Andalusite was named by Jean-Claude Delamétehrie, a French mineralogist, geologist and paleontologist. He believed that the mineral came from Andalusia, Spain. However, it actually comes from El Cardoso de la Sierra in the Spanish province of Guadalajara.
Andalusite is trimorphic with kyanite and sillimanite.
The variety is, for example, chiastolite, which creates crosses in the parent rock, and the green variety of andalusite is viridin (from the Latin viride = green). The color of andalusite is pink, gray-purple. Crystals occur together, for example, with quartz.

Andalusite harmonizes the heart chakra. It belongs to the grounding and stabilizing stones and helps to remain firmly anchored in reality. It is considered to protect against negative energy, thereby promoting a sense of security. Andalusite is also considered a stone that promotes clarity of thought and enhances inner vision. It can help an individual better understand themselves and their goals, making decision-making easier. It is used to release old emotional blocks, helps to bring peace and strengthen mental resilience.

The description of the alleged properties of the stone, which do not relate to its chemical and physical properties, is given on the basis of generally disseminated and generally available information about the traditional folk use of the stone, which has not been verified by science, and is therefore not a proposal for concluding a purchase contract according to Act 89/2012 Coll.
