Larimar ring silver Ag 925 LOT353
Elegant ring silver with a beautiful and high-quality larimar cabochon , which resembles the play of sun rays on the surface of the sea. The larimar stone is carefully selected with a distinctly blue color and pattern. Larimar size approx. 2.3 cm . Ag 925. You are buying the jewelry shown directly.
Larimar, also known as the "dolphin stone", is one of the rarest semi-precious stones in the world . This is due to the fact that there is only one deposit of this unique blue variety of pectolite in the world. Larimar is mined only in the Caribbean in a very small mountainous area of the island of Hispaniola, about 5 km from Rio Bahoruco in the Dominican Republic.
Another name for Larimar is the stone of Atlantis . According to the famous prophet Edgar Cayce, the Dominican Republic is the remnant of the lost continent of Atlantis. Interestingly, it was Cayce who predicted the discovery of a new blue stone in the Caribbean, namely larimar, about 60 years ago.
