Tibetan Cymbal with mantra

A traditional Tibetan cymbal whose sounds are meant to encourage attention and concentration in Buddhist rituals. The cymbal, cymbals or tingsha is decorated with a mantra, it is made of a metal alloy, the diameter is about 6 cm. The tool is packed in a nice gift box. Illustrative illustration.

The cymbal can be used, for example, to start and end meditations, massages or other rituals.

Mantras (man - thinking, tra - instrument, or literally true word). Mantras are words and especially their sound, mantras are used for repeated recitation or meditation (repetition only in the mind), the goal is to calm the mind.

The mantras for each chakra are as follows:
- root chakra: laahm (pronounce: lam),
- sacral chakra: vaahm (pronounce: vam),
- solar plexus chakra: raahm (pronounce: ram),
- heart chakra: yaahm (pronounce: jam),
- throat chakra: haam (pronounce: ham),
- Third Eye Chakra: ohmm or aumm (pronounce: om),
- crown chakra: silent contemplation.

The most famous six syllable mantra of Tibetan Buddhism is the mantra Om mani padme hum.
