Larimar earrings silver Ag 925 75087

Elegant silver earrings with larimar cabochons, which resemble the play of sunlight on the surface of the sea, and cut amethysts. Ag 925. You are purchasing the jewelry shown directly. The weight listed is for the entire pair.

Larimar, also known as the "dolphin stone", is one of the rarest semi-precious stones in the world . This is due to the fact that there is only one deposit of this unique blue variety of pectolite in the world. Larimar is mined only in the Caribbean in a very small mountainous area of the island of Hispaniola, about 5 km from Rio Bahoruco in the Dominican Republic.

Another name for Larimar is the stone of Atlantis . According to the famous prophet Edgar Cayce, the Dominican Republic is the remnant of the lost continent of Atlantis. Interestingly, it was Cayce who predicted the discovery of a new blue stone in the Caribbean, namely larimar, about 60 years ago.
