Larimar earrings silver Ag 925 E2591

Elegant silver earrings with larimar cabochons and cut topazes . Ag 925. You are buying the directly depicted piece of jewelry. The weight shown is for the entire pair.

Larimar, also known as the "dolphin stone", is among the rarest semi-precious stones in the world . This fact is due to the fact that there is only one deposit in the world of this unique blue variety of pectolite, which is larimar. Larimar is only mined in the Caribbean in a very small mountainous area of the island of Hispaniola, about 5 km from Rio Bahoruco in the Dominican Republic.

Another name for Larimar is the Stone of Atlantis . According to the famous prophet Edgar Cayce, the Dominican Republic is a remnant of the lost continent of Atlantis. Interestingly, it was Cayce who predicted the discovery of a new blue stone in the Caribbean, actually larimar, about 60 years ago.
