Tulsi, also Thulasi, Tulasi (Ocimum tenuiflorum also Ocimum sanctum, narrow-flowered basil) is a perennial plant, used in India as a supporting plant and as a spice. In Asia, it is used to produce aromatic oil, as a supporting plant in the form of teas, as a spice to flavor various dishes, but also during religious ceremonies.
