Shungite tumbled

Shungite is a recently discovered stone. The only known site is on the shores of Lake Onega in Karelia, in northwestern Russia.

In metaphysical traditions, shungite promotes change and personal growth, suppresses irritability, fatigue and stress. In folk traditions, shungite creates a positive aura that attracts positive people and happy events. It is also said to be an effective barrier against negative influences. Traditionally, shungite supports change and personal growth, in addition, it is said that it teaches the ability to rejoice in small things and to see the benefits for the future in every small thing and event.

Uses: At present, the effects of shungite and its chemical properties are increasingly being studied, and water filters are made from it in large quantities. Legend has it that shungite was known during the time of Tsar Peter I, who used it to purify water for his army before the battle with the King of Sweden near Poltava. It is often said that shungite removes impurities from water and makes it more drinkable. The Swedish army and the king thus suffered from stomach ailments before the battle.
