Please note: the teapot is only used to keep tea warm using a Tetsubin heater, it is not intended for boiling water or placing on any heat source. The teapot is not dishwasher safe.

Instructions for use: the teapot is intended for maintaining the temperature of tea using a Tetsubin heater, not for use on any heat source for boiling water and possibly heating tea. The tannins contained in the tea react with iron ions and a dark blue to black-violet color occurs. The coating that remains in the teapot will prevent the teapot from rusting and has no negative effect on the quality and taste of the tea.

After using the kettle, pour out any remaining contents, let the kettle dry and cool, and cover with a dry lid. Do not leave water standing in the kettle until the next use to prevent rusting.

Notice

Do not touch the inside of the kettle with your hands, do not clean the inside with a cloth or brush, do not use cleaning agents.
Do not wash the hot kettle with tap water.
Keep in mind that the kettle is heavy on its own, filling it with water will almost double its weight.
If you are not going to use the kettle for a while, coat the inside with cooking oil and store it in a cool, dry place. Before using, fill the kettle with water, bring it to the boil, pour it out and the kettle is ready for use again.
The kettle is not intended for use in a microwave oven.
