How to make essential oil?
If you do not want to buy a finished product, but you are creative and want to put your own invention and effort into production, we will advise you on how easy it is to materialize your idea. The production of essential oil is simple. We do not assume that you own a distillation apparatus, so you will use a simple way of obtaining essential oil, which is called enfleurage (pronounced: anfleráž). The term is used in cosmetology and refers to the recovery of fragrances from flowers by fat extraction at room temperature, ie a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
The fresh, withered or dried plant or part of it (flowers, stems, leaves, etc.) is placed in oil or animal fat, such as lard, into which essential oil is gradually released.
In this way, for example, lavender essential oil, thyme, rosemary, mint, sage, cinnamon and many others can be prepared.
How do you know if a plant contains essential oil? You can find the information either on the Internet or you can find a product in the form of an essential oil that contains either an essential oil from one plant or a mixture of several.
Take the plant and immerse it in oil in a closed, glass container. Leave in a dark place, stirring occasionally for 14 days. It is then filtered through a fine sieve or canvas.

Subsequently, the extract is filtered through a fine filter and the tincture is ready for use, for at least 3 months, stored at room temperature up to 25 o C.
How to make aroma lamp wax?
Do you like to create? Do you like to invent and produce something of your own, with your own ideas?
You can make fragrant wax for the aroma of the lamp very easily. It can have different shapes, colors and scents. You can use soy wax, rapeseed, coconut wax - their mixtures, palm wax, beeswax or solid paraffin. Palm and beeswax have a higher melting point and are harder. Palm wax has a look reminiscent of winter icing.
The molds can be made of silicone, but paper cups, which are used for sweets, will serve just as well.
Use candle colors to color the wax. Use an essential or fragrant oil to make the wax smell of your favorite scent.
The content of added fragrance should not be higher than 10%, ideally you can try 5% content, ie. 5 g in 100 g of wax.
Melt the wax in a metal pot on a water bath, which you make from a saucepan filled with water. If you decide to color the wax, add it to the melting wax. After melting, mix the scent and pour into the molds. Allow to solidify at room temperature. Release the wax from the molds and store in a closed glass until use. You can add a piece of star anise, cloves, lavender, cinnamon to solidifying waxes.
How to make a scented candle?
If you would like to make a scented candle, the procedure is similar to making a scented wax. In addition, you will need molds for candles, wicks, wick attachments, pots to melt wax or paraffin, a thermometer and more time than making scented waxes. Candles do not necessarily have to be made only of solids such as waxes, including beeswax and paraffin, but can also be made of gel, for example. The advantage is faster work, the gel is translucent and various decorations such as glitter, shells, stones, star anise, cloves and anything that comes to mind stand out in it. The production of scented candles is a pleasant relaxation and an extremely creative activity that you will enjoy. A candle is a suitable gift for everyone, regardless of age and gender, especially one that you have created with your own hands.
Whether you make a scented wax or a candle yourself or buy them, it is essential that you use them to create a pleasant environment for relaxation, rest, meditation or meeting everyone you love.
