Third Eye Chakra - Ajna

Third eye chakra or frontal chakra - Ajna (pronounced: ajna), the 6th chakra positively affects intuition, inner guidance, consciousness and balances our own "I". Its color is indigo, it is a symbol of wisdom, openness, clarity and better communication. It is the color of people born at the time of the winter solstice, from January 21 to February 20, i.e. under the sign of Aquarius.

Every realization in our life is preceded by thoughts, ideas, which can be based either on subconscious emotional patterns, or can be their source of knowledge of reality. The sixth chakra is the seat of awareness processes in our life, so we can create new realities and destroy old ones.

The sixth, frontal chakra completes the conscious perception of being. It is the seat of higher spiritual powers, intellectual faculties, discernment, memory and will. On the physical plane, the "Third Eye" chakra represents the highest controlling center of the central nervous system.

When properly functioning, the sixth chakra is a source of creativity, intelligence and perspective, supporting our imagination and perception. With the harmonious function of the sixth chakra, the ability to visualize is well developed and we understand many connections intuitively.
Blockages and disharmony are manifested by life without a plan, instability, frequent changes of partners, jobs and residence. Also, attempts to influence other people by demonstrating one's own power or satisfying one's own thoughts. In such a case, the solar plexus chakra is usually still broken and the heart and crown chakra are underdeveloped.

Location: it is located on the forehead between the eyebrows.

Color: indigo (royal blue).

Element: light.

Sensory function: all senses, including extrasensory perception.

Basic principle: knowing being, seeing.
