(Sanskrit: mul = root, adhara = base, base), its other names that we can meet: the first chakra, the red chakra, the basic chakra, Muladhara.
Element: Earth.
Organs corresponding to the 1st chakra: adrenal glands, kidneys, legs, feet, rectum, immune system, teeth, bones.
Mantra: laahm (pronounce lam), 4x.
Influence: emotions - loss, confidence, feeling safe.
Imbalance: fear, fear of life, dissatisfaction, inability to be stable and take root, susceptibility to alcohol, cigarette addiction, etc.

Each of the four petals of the lotus flower represents a certain central aspect of the psyche:
Manas (mind).
Buddhi (intellect).
Chitta (levels of consciousness).
Ahamkara (ego).
Other interpretations say that the petals symbolize the goals of immaculate life, the Hindu principle of Purusarthy. These are:

Dharma (virtuous life).
Artha (achieving a life of purpose and meaning).
Kama (enjoying sensory and emotional pleasure and satisfaction).
Moksha (life in the pursuit of spiritual freedom and self-awareness).

The square represents stability. Four symbolizes 4 physical elements, four compass points, 4 seasons.

We can meet an elephant with seven trunks, as a symbol of the basic chakra, a symbol of wisdom and stability. The trunks represent the 7 basic elements of Ayurveda and also concern the seven levels of consciousness:
Unconscious - Subconscious - Dream Consciousness - Awake Consciousness - Astral Consciousness - Supreme Consciousness - Cosmic Consciousness. Obviously, a form can be found between the 7 trunks and the 7 main chakras.

Element: Water.
Organs corresponding to the 2nd chakra: reproductive system - ovaries and testes.
Mantra: vaahm (pronounce you), 6x.
Energy: kundalini.
Influence: sexuality and creativity.
Imbalance: fear of intimacy, inability to learn from the fact that life is more than just survival, inability to enjoy pleasure.

Chakra symbol, ie a flower consisting of 6 petals. It hides many repetitive cycles - 60 seconds, 60 minutes, 12 months ... and reveals 6 feelings that need to be overcome to clear this chakra:

- jealousy
- hatred,

- cruelty,

Mantra: raahm (pronounce ram), 10x.
Influence: wisdom and power.
Imbalance: distrust of one's own judgment, fear of decision-making, inability to take risks, demanding the support of someone else, annoyance, negativity.

The chakra symbol consists of 10 petals.

Influence: love and healing.
Imbalance: sadness, closure to love, sorrow or, conversely, unnatural gaiety.
